I'm Dan Kovachvich of D.K. Pittsburgh Sports.

I've covered the baseball team for a long time.

Like, really long time.

I've followed the baseball team my entire life.

And this is a season that I can safely say is not really like any other. What I mean by that, principally, is that there's not a firm pattern that really goes beyond,

we'll take this series, we won't take that one, we'll take this one, we'll take this one.

Whatever happens out of this, they don't ever fall into anything.

There's never a big rut. There's never a, oh, woe is us. Look at this. Everything's,

everything's coming off. And that includes singularly in smaller samples,

bouncing back from really bad, bad, bad losses.

That's a strength unto itself.

That was a win that they had last night in Houston.

It was 5 to 1.

It was thorough.

It had quality pitching from Jared Jones and Carmen

Maginsky.

It had big hits.

The biggest one, of course,

off the bat of Ryan O'Hern.

It had everything that you'd want, but it also had, hey, everybody, chill.
