in the wildcard standing.

They always kind of look at it one game at a time and they think of every game as a big

game, but I don't know if you can really just underestimate the significance of this type of series.

They're playing the Cubs and the finale of their series yesterday, trying to avoid a sweep.

I covered that one yesterday.

And the mood in there was Diamondbacks this and Diamondbacks that,

which is really wild for baseball like nobody ever does that in general.

But they understood.

All you have to do is take a casual glance at the standings to see that the Diamondbacks aren't just a team that the pirates are chasing.

They might be the team that the pirates are chasing.

Now, there is a pack in there, of course, but every one of these games counts, and they count a lot more than the other ones that are being played.
