Higgeny Malkin, of course, is a pending unrestricted free agent. We've spent a fair amount of time on him over the course of this week, and he's not alone on that list of pending possibilities that Kyle Dubus has to consider. In some cases, I'm sure that he will consider. I want to hear from you

as well today on this subject. Who are the ones that you want to keep? Who are the ones that you

would make a priority? And who are the ones where you would say, dude, there's the door. There's

the door. We saw how you did in the playoffs we have no use for it of

course i'm talking about anthony mantha mantha was the subject of my daily shot of penguins podcast

this morning and to that josh says adk i know in this morning show that you lean toward not being

likely to want to to re-sign Manta due to the playoff performance what price would you offer

him that you would think is acceptable I wouldn't I wouldn't't. If you think about, I don't sound mean,

first of all. Maybe I could have come across that way in the morning show. Manta's like the

goodest dude. Now, I did say that on the show. And he was a total professional, super cooperative and everything else.

But you can't do that in this sport.

You can't be a guy that's got zero goals in 22 career playoff games.

He's been in the league for a decade and a half and he hasn't got a single playoff goal.

And he goes into this one coming off his career year with the 33 goals.

And he goes into the playoffs.

And it's not just that he didn't score.

What happens?

It's that he was for the most part invisible. Made the one terrific play

to set up Elmer Soderblum. And I don't even think the pass was for Elmer. I think the

pass was for Ben Kendall. It was still a good play. If it goes to either guy, it's a really good

play. He won the puck behind the Philadelphia net and that got it out front, made things happen,
