thank you. Thank you for taking the time. It's been a big day in Carolina, hasn't it not.

Yeah, I mean, I don't think I saw this coming, but Crosby's going to play tonight. Actually,

the one to break that news was of Gennie Malkin. I mean, watching the morning skate, you see Sid taking line rushes. He's working, like, he's skating with, with Ressnerkel. He's back on the top powerplay. So obviously, he's going to play. But then after the skate, you know, the media were waiting outside the locker room to go in and Malkin gets

off the ice. And he has the biggest smile on his face. And he's like, he's back. Crossby's back.

So as excited as anyone as like you think you are, like if you're watching this, you're not half as

excited as of getting Malkin. Because even in the locker, he was like almost a giddy. It makes, it made me think like reading, reading about that made me think of that, uh, that, uh, that, uh, meme that's like forever old of when James Neal was doing the interview. And he was just back there doing, doing the thing. That's kind of what it made me think of. That's honestly what he look like. but no, I've seen a bunch of people like have quote tweeted that with pictures of Paul Revere. Oh, that's still good. Walking announcing it to everyone. He's back. He's back. You know, typically Dan Mews likes doing like the, we're still having conversations when someone's coming back from injury and he doesn't

want to quite say he can't do that today because geno spilled the beams he could not hold it in

so it's officially back yeah sid's back uh you had a chance to uh to talk with him uh this morning

after the morning skate uh here's uh about 40 seconds of that exchange here as Cid's getting ready to play and take on the hurricanes tonight.

What can you say about the way the team has played without you?

Really well.

You know, it's never easy watching, but I think you gain even more appreciation when you're up top and you know

you just see on a nightly basis the way we compete the way we work just coming back in games

you know a lot of different things so just want to jump in there and contribute as best I can

what did you think of Gino's game, last game?

Great.

I mean, we were skating together there, so to see him come in like that after missing five games was huge.

And he set the bar high.
