Congratulations to the Toronto Maple Leafs for finally winning something anything last night.

That would, of course, be your draft lottery.

Woo.

That means that they could have their pick of anybody that they want, obviously, including Gavin McKenna,

the wonderful winger that they have up at Penn State.

Don't go there, kid. Just don't. Make sure you have the face that Connor McDavid had when he found out that he was going to Edmonton.

You can do that.

The penguins are about a week removed from playing hockey.

And the questions that have arisen since then, for the most part, don't have answers.

And that's because Kyle Dubas has yet to have his end of season press conference.

When he does, you'll be surprised at how illuminating he's going to be.

He is somebody who doesn't make himself super accessible during the season.

He does enough of it, but not a ton compared to others.

But when the season ends, he will sit there for, this is up in Cranberry for a long time.

I'm talking like 30, 40 minutes and answer everything. You can work your way down the entire organizational depth chart with him and get this glorious information. And on top of that,

he's candid. It's not just a volume thing.

He'll tell you what it is that he's thinking.

He'll tell you who it is that might have surprised him, might have disappointed him.

And he's not going to be a jerk about it necessarily meaning to that player if they

disappointed him, but he is going to say what it is that he

feels that that player needs to do to get better.
