Joining me from the site of a pretty hockey game last night in Las Vegas is D.K., who through that laugh, I can, I can imagine that

those are pretty good description of it, was it not?

You mean, whatever that that grunt was that you just gave?

I wish I'd thought of that when I wrote the column from here last night.

I needed some

adjectives. You know, they didn't, it's funny. I was joking around with, to an extent, with,

with Derek Carlson after the game said, it's funny that the stuff that went wrong in this game was

stuff that you guys usually do really well.

Like, I didn't get into specifics because I don't want to put him on the spot.

But like, for example, his defense partner, Parker Waterspo was usually really good.

Arts or C-Law has been really good in goal since Christmas.

The fourth line has been unbelievable all season long. All of those things went south,

all of them. Yeah. And it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's almost one of those where you say to yourself,

you know, I, you're actually kind of glad that they lost the way they did because you know that

that part's not a problem.

I see what you're saying. And I think it's kind of funny when you describe the things like that.

It's funny because like I think that's what people were envisioning at the beginning of the season.

Like they weren't envisioning Parker Wetherspoon being a legitimate like top four defense Like, they weren't envisioning Parker Watherspoon being a legitimate, like, top four defensemen.

They weren't envisioning the fourth line having any kind of impact, whether that be great in the penalty kill or actually putting the puck in the net or anything like that.

And probably didn't think much of the goaltending situation,, at least outside of at the time Tristan Jari.

I think that maybe last night was a personification of what people expected this season to be,
