pregame show in advance of penguins versus Flames tonight in Calgary,

which is how they call it, Alberta at 9.38 p.m. Eastern time faceoff joined out there in Calgary

by Taylor Haas, our beat reporter who covered this morning skate and big surprise,

goal. What the heck? Yeah, I was almost positive that they would continue the rotation

just through this road trip just because of the schedule. I mean, there's a, you know,

Skinner got Seattle, they have a back-to-back. You figure both goalies are going to play today and tomorrow anyway, then they finish

in Vancouver.

I thought it would have made sense to have Sheelof start tonight,

Skinner start tomorrow in his hometown against his former team,

and then you start Sheelves in Vancouver against his former team,

but they're not doing that.

Skinner's getting the start tonight.

So I have a question because we talked about this yesterday.

Like when they would have these back-to-back sometimes, they would like go all in to try to

win the first game. That's what I'm thinking. Yeah. And so is that, do you get the sense that

that that's what's happening here, that they're just like, screw the game in Edmonton? We're going to throw all of our best guys out there. Yeah, let's beat the flames. Let's beat the flames. Do you get that sense at all?

Yeah, I was that's what I I was like talking with people this morning and that's what I speculated I mean they did they didn't say that. I asked Mews. I said,

you know, this is not the first time, but they've deviated from the rotation, but it's the first time in a while. And I asked why. And he said like, oh, you know, they've both been playing well. Skinner earned the right to start tonight. And I don't know if you earn the right to start to back to back like you're going to start no matter what but so but it's not they're not going to say

what you suggested that I don't know if you earn the right to start a back-to-back, like you're going to start no matter what.

But it's not, they're not going to say what you suggested that they're going to in tonight in Edmonton. Yeah, of course. Yeah, of course. So that's, that's what I think. Yeah, and they're not going to say what Robin Juana here are saying, which is, hmm, Going for the easier win in Calgary.

Not after they lost the flames two weeks ago.
