A hiring of Mike McCarthy has appeared to have drawn some lines within the fan base.

out as well. McCarthy was introduced by Art Rooney at a press conference at Accrochure Stadium yesterday,

and immediately upon being introduced, the man proceeded to fall apart.

All right, here we go. Thank you, I think I thought at least be able to get started. You know, oftentimes coaches and players,

you know, you put on new team colors and it takes it takes a minute to feel comfortable

in those new colors but to be blessed beyond any measure one day to put on the

colors you wore since you brought home I apologize right I told you not to sit my

family not here front this is so unfair when you come home from Mercy Hospital.

I do want to thank, I want to thank Art, Roney, Homer Con, Dan Rooney, and the entire Steelers

organization for the trust they placed in me to represent one of the most stored franchise

in all of sports. I understand most stored franchise in all sports.

I understand and embrace the responsibility of the privilege and the weight that comes

with this stewardship.

This city, this franchise, this fan base means a world to me.

Because Pittsburgh is my world and Dodds, it's just awesome to be back here.

I speak this as someone who is born and raised and will always be a Pittsburgher. I could never

leave. I've had multiple opportunities to leave. Began rejecting those a long time ago and never stopped.

That man came home yesterday.
