promising things. I wouldn't say that it was anything over the top,

but it was the kind of stuff that would make you stand up and notice a rookie in particular.

And Wilson now, comfortably I think is a good word for it. Into his second NFL season has begun to poke his head through the roof to the extent that I'm almost,

almost ready to attach the S word to his potential.

Now, because he's an inside linebacker,

you still want to evaluate your guys at that position

as much as it's changed by tackles.

He ranks 16th in the NFL with 71 combined tackles.

Third, in the entire league, any position in solo tackles at 44.

And that figure, by the way, exactly matches the 44 that he had in all 17 games of his

rookie season. That's taking a step forward.

His two passes defense so far, his interception,

also match exactly what he achieved as a rookie.
