An offensive line is only as good or as bad as the sum of its parts, but it really does have to be all five parts.

Only now, let's just say, the tone and tenor of this topic has changed just a little bit.

If you're a pro football focus person and I have shared with you and actually shared with them,

that I find a lot of value in what they do from a numerical standpoint,

not nearly as much when it comes to film study and what the player and or coach had been hoping to achieve on a certain sequence

since there's no way they can know that.

But when it comes to ripping through the film and coming up with statistics, coming up with

counting numbers, they deliver material of real value on every subject that doesn't involve Miles Garrett.

PFF, following the Steelers victory, Sunday night issued its final rankings of the season for

cumulative offensive line. And with each team that they listed, they put down what

they consider to be that team's best lineup. The Steelers finished. Sit down for this. Eighth in

the entire 32 team NFL. Eighth. Not 32nd, not 31st, not 30th, not anywhere near where they actually

were going back to Dublin, Ireland. When things had gotten so scary for the coaching staff

that they were forced to put extra humans out there.
