The athletes don't return to the complex on the south side until tomorrow.

Today's being recognized internally with some humor as Victory Wednesday.

So we won't know for a bit the status of several injured players.

But make no mistake, the one they're missing the most is Derek Harmon.

and the home team can only pray to the football gods that Harmon will be back after missing two games to a knee injury.

Mike Tomlin at his press conference yesterday sounded somewhat encouraged in stating that Harmon will be limited the early portions of the week,

and then from there practice how he practices will determine how things go.

He also noted that the additional day, of course, will help.

Now, Harmon's a pretty neat case, and one, I feel is worth spotlighting at this stage of the season, especially since the team, without him, has given up 200 plus yards on the ground in these past two games.

Listen to this. These numbers are just staggering. In the four games that Harmon has missed, and these were

for different injuries, the Steelers have allowed an average of 191 rushing yards. That's an average

in the four games he's missed.

In the nine games that he's played, and one of those I'll remind you was kind of a partial

game where he was slowed back onto the field.
