And I've been kind of out of touch over these past couple of days out in Salt Lake City

covering hockey to know if this isn't already the case.

But there's going to be a whole lot of Chiefs as Greatest Dynasty ever talk.

And that's understandable on a couple of levels.

One is that it helps build the hype for the game, not that the game needs hype,

but you're always looking for some kind of themes, you're looking for story subjects.

And the other factor is, it's kind of real.

I'm not going to lie, the first time I heard it, it was late in that AFC Championship game

that one of the broadcasters broached it.

And I just cranched like, what are you talking about?

Chiefs, huh?

But here are the facts. In the 2020s, the Chiefs have won three of the

past five Super Bowls and they participated in a fourth. So if they win this one, that'll be four

in six years. And you know who won four in six years. And because they

won four in six years were universally accepted as the greatest team of all time. And on that

count alone, the Steelers of the 1970s for the first time ever would fall

short because they won four times in six years, but they did not have an additional

appearance in the game among those middle two teams. the way amusingly enough one of which is still

considered to be the Steelers actual greatest single team of all time and the Chiefs of course
