Coaches were excited enough by this to be making audible noise,

which is to say audible from the press area elsewhere in the building.

I'd like to believe there was cause for that.

I'd further like to believe that even though almost all of those people I just described are now out of the building,

there might be cause for a whole new set of eyes and ears on this young man to give him a chance.
