Steelers 29, Lions 24, at least at last check, though it certainly took the Ford Field scoreboard operator.

A few extra, I'm sure, not accidental seconds to set that straight after that spectacularly

stunning, really conclusion to what became a very, very good football game.

And by the way, a very, very, very good outcome for your favorite team.

Because that, coupled with the Ravens losing, collapsing really, to the Patriots later that evening,

they can't say it, but I can't.

That sets things up very, very nicely for first place in the AFC North, and as such,

fourth place in the conference in a home playoff game.

There might even be, if the Ravens were to lose, again Saturday to the Packers in Green Bay,

I'd say if that's likely.

Then the Steelers could just take the last week of the regular season, which of course is a head-to-head with the Ravens, pretty much off.

Allow everyone to recover and recuperate, which is not a small thing if you want to do more

than just get into the playoffs.

But this, I have a feeling, and I could end up being wrong, that this game that was played

here is going to be remembered for a lot of the wrong stuff.
