One more practice on the South Side side today and then the football team flies

via NFL charter to Dublin I'll be doing likewise it will not be on a charter we don't do that

as reporters maintaining our independent integrity and all that other stuff I'll be doing that

later today on Icelandair, stopping in

Reykjavik. I don't know what kind of shape I'll be in when I get there because I don't sleep on planes.

But it does seem as if the part of this football team that's been in the worst shape could be getting

a fair amount of help back in practice

yesterday. Both Deshawn Elliott and Joey Porter were limited participants, but the only word

I hear in that is participants because they've been out for a while now. Elliot hurting his knee

in the opener in East Rutherford, Porter, yanking his hamstring.

Patrick Queen also was a limited participant because of the mess that he's made of his ribs over the past couple of games.

That is one tough dude. He will play. The other two will see.
