Rogers and the Steelers officially signed a contract late last night.

The word had obviously emanated from the Rogers side that he was intending to sign

with the Steelers earlier in the day.

That actually did get done, pending the obligatory physical, which is expected to occur today over on the

South Side. The deal is for one year. Nobody anywhere has the financial terms yet, and as far as the

news element to all of that, that's basically it. He's expected to be a full participant in the mandatory mini-camp that begins next Tuesday.

I had mentioned to you in an episode earlier this week that this really needed to get done before that for a bunch of reasons, and it did get done.
