People think I'm cynical about this franchise.

Victor Kirfman, a long time listener, wrote to me after yesterday's show, which was about my conspiracy theories as to why Bubba Chandler and Connor Griffin each

just magically got promotions within the past week. And Vic writes to me, I just got an email

that answered why Chandler and Griffin got promoted. The renewal invoices for the 2026 season tickets were just sent out with a

small percentage increase. This is almost three weeks later than last year. Of course, we were

actually sniffing the playoffs at the beginning of August last year, so they tried to capitalize on it,

and they held off this year until they

finally had to create some good news.

perspective, because the same owner who chose Ben Charington over Matt Arnold,

the guy who's now beating the universe in Milwaukee,

happens to be the same guy who will make the next hire as well.

That's disconcerting.
