I mean, you can find positives.

You can always find positives. O'Neill Cruz hit his first home run of the season. It was a very predictable bullet. It went the other way.

Miguel Yuhure came up and started and pitched pretty well. That means something toward the future, potentially. But the results, the results, do you realize that the pirates have won only

five of their last 21 games? Do you realize that three of those five came against the Cubs?

You can look at all kinds of different markers. You can say, well, they played the

race super tight in all three games down in St. Petersburg, and they did. Two of those were

walkoffs for Tampa Bay. The third one was a lot like the game last night in that it was just blown at the end.

And what you're left with afterward is Derek Shelton sounding a lot like this.
