I've gotten wind of some stuff over the weekend that the local baseball team was about to poach.

This was the word that was used, two individuals from the successful management team up in Cleveland.

One of those became known late last night.

check out. Kevin Tenenbaum is his name. He was in Cleveland, the vice president of research

and development. He will be in Pittsburgh the vice president of research and development.

It's a lateral move in every way.

He'd been with the Guardians in their research and development department since 2017.

Before that, he spent a couple of years in the Orioles Research and Development Department.

By all accounts, he's really good at what he does.

He filled his role well with the Guardians.

And all I have to share with you today on this subject is that what I'd heard over the weekend,

you know, the poach thing was that the pirates really internally thought this was a big, big deal.

Now, I don't know who the second person is yet, but they were really puffing the

chests out over this. And that should just tell you so much about the extremes to which Ben

Charington has a grip on everyone else, including the two people over his head
