leading 16th shutout. And Jared Triolo homered for the second time in his many games,

which is so crazy, I can't even offer a commentary on it.

And Skeens, on the occasion of his 50th career start in Major League Baseball

now has a 2.02 career ERA. That is the second lowest in Major League history since the live ball era

began in 1920 through 50 starts the only one lower was the 2.01,

a former Oakland great Vida Blue. Not that there's any anomaly at hand here for this season, Skeen's his ERA is at 2.07.

His whip is at 0.94. He's got to be, got to be, the National League.
