and acquire and develop and instruct and nurture your own talent that you got because in an

unfair economic system and major league baseball very much has one of those

you don't have a choice you don't have a choice this is the one facet of the operation that isn't

optional you can miss here or there you can miss on a trade you can miss on a trade, you can miss on a free agent. You can't miss when it comes

to drafting players, acquiring them through Latin America or other international pools. And then once you do get them,

you can't miss in the most general sense in getting them to the majors. And then once they get to the majors,

you can't miss again in a general sense on being able to keep them there, having them succeed there.
