Pirates versus Marlins, for real, 4.10 p.m. first pitch.

Unbelievable matchup. Actually, in that regard, might be the best anywhere in baseball

for an opener between Paul Skeens and the great Sandy Alcantara.

And that might be the only part of this that would be worth looking forward to because

there's not a lot there.

I talk a lot about the Pirates lineup, but oh my

goodness, you should see Miami's and you will. And you're not going to believe it. You're not

going to believe that there's a major league team sending nine guys like that that you've never

heard of before out there for an opener in front of their own fans.

But I digress.

In fact, I'm going to fully digress.

I have said this to you over the winter.

I have had many, many things to say critical about everything related to this operation, from the very top, from

Bob Nutting, all the way down to the bottom prospect of the Dominican Summer League pool.

I went at it.
