Carmen Muginski started when three innings gave up two runs.

One of those earned four strikeouts, no walks.

Mike Clevenger, who's trying to make the team as a reliever really got hammered four runs and five hits over three innings. And Griffin didn't play. And it doesn't

sound based on some stuff that Ben Charrington told reporters yesterday at Lecom Park as if it matters if he plays,

at least not toward being part of the team March 26 in New York.

This was Charington on that subject.

He's been impressive as we anticipated he would be, you know, knowing Connor and the physical skills and he is as a person anticipated that he would do good things in spring training and he has.

And, you know, we believe that we have responsibility as an organization with Connor.

He's got a chance to have a really, really good long career.

And it's our job to do everything we can to support him in being in the best spot possible to do that.
