You know how if you're playing on a team or you're coaching a team or even if you're just a fan of a team

and you start talking bad about the opponent after they beat you, they have a term for this.

It's called sour grapes.

One of the nice things about being in the journalism business.

Nobody can really accuse you of that.

See, I didn't lose to these guys last night,

but I have a lot to say about them.

If you're into football and or baseball, I also offer daily shots of Steelers and Pirates in the same

place that you found this. Hurricane 6, Penguins 5 in

overtime. A Sean Walker goal ended it. Five Pittsburgh goals sustained it. Eric Carlson, who really

ought to start getting mentioned for the Norris Trophy, had two of those

goals, Sidney Crosby and his return, of course, scored. Brian Rust, beautiful self-made

breakaway pulling away from Jacob Slavin, no less, to create it. Ben Kindle sprung for his own

breakaway on a sweet pass by Anthony Mantha, and Stuart Skinner, my friends, was out of his bleeping mind.

The team's overall play was not good, like not at all.

But they got their point, they finished the trip with points in four of the five games, two one and two in all, and they probably

absorbed some good lessons, some bad lessons. All right, we all square on the game now? Okay,

good. I can respect the hurricane's results over a sustained span. They're very, very good in the regular season. They can beat and usually

do beat pretty much anybody that comes along between October and over the middle of April.
