nonetheless, moderately uplifting two-game winning streak on the line. And on top of that,

it puts the onus on Dan Mews and his staff and presumably management above them as well.

As to who will be the healthy scratch to make room for Chinikov's debut with the team, my guess.

I don't think I'm exactly going on a limb here is that it'll be Philaecoivinen.

And I've got to tell you, I don't

have any issue really with that at all. He's still not shooting. He's still not asserting himself,

in large part, because he's not shooting. He's still not even really making things happen

the way he did when he came up for those final 10 games last season.

I don't know that sitting and watching is going to help him, but you know, you do get to the point where you're at least a little bit less worried about the player and his development and certainly his feelings than you are about how the team's doing and about

rewarding the players who are getting the job done. So yeah, this one's pretty easy. I'm going to

take this to the next step, to the Gino step, to make a point today. Let's presume, and

hope, as always, that nobody gets hurt.

You don't want anybody getting hurt on any side. And that the forwards that you saw

in these past two games in Chicago and then the blowout of the hurricanes here a couple

nights ago, let's presume that that's still your forward foundation. Okay, now take somebody out.
