Ducks five Penguins won last night in Anaheim,

California. Yes, the visitors came out strong. Yes, they had the first nine shots of the game.

Yes, the local lad John Gibson was the only reason they didn't put two or three of those

into the net. It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter that the ducks came up

a little bit of luck on the couple of goals that they'd score to close out that period.

It doesn't matter that they had more luck in the second period.

All that matters is that the penguins continued to leave multiple points on the figurative

table night after night.

And if you go back really now for a little bit more than a month,

this team has just been win, lose, win, lose, win, lose. And, you know, from the outside perspective,

they kind of rope you in and then let you go again, and then rope you in and let you go again.

In some cases, it can be outright confusing, such as when they went to Buffalo and played terribly and got themselves a big result.

Next night, they go to Washington, play really well, and lose.

At least in these first two games in Southern California, they've kind of kept that stuff clean. Played great in L.A., won,
