One of those early in the third period, another one midway through.

That should have been enough, obviously.

But it wasn't.

And the reason that it wasn't was that even though, according to absolutely everybody involved,

the third period overall was their best in terms of how they

actually performed Mike Sullivan said essentially the same thing well it's

discouraging because the ironing of it is as we give up two goals and you know in

the third period in the third period was our best period that we played all night.

So what was it that did go wrong if they had their best period and blew a two-goal lead?
