impressive in his own way, overcoming yet another one of those really weird goals early on,

which the puck was just dumped in from the red line, and he allowed it to skip out in front into the crease

for the easiest goal of some dude's life. But far more important than any of this,

another than maybe the result, maybe, is that Rutker McGroherty won the game. And when I say he

won the game, I'm going to be a little bit more specific than that he scored

the tie-breaking goal with 259 remaining in regulation.

Long-time listeners will recall that I've had many a conversation with Magrorty about his knack for hanging high in the attacking zone.

It's something he's done throughout his hockey life, throughout his college career,

and he's done it in his stints that he's been in the NHL.
