Scott Arneill is the coach of the Jets here in Winnipeg.

He was asked yesterday about the opponent that his team is about to face,

and he had a pretty interesting response that I have a feeling

is going to be the beginning of a pretty long discussion.

and this is a special edition of Daily Shot of Penguins, coming to you

from Winnipeg, Manitoba. Penguins and Jets will face off at 308 p.m. Eastern Time inside Canada

Life Center, and they'll do so as two of the top teams in the NHL.

By that I mean, the penguins are number one at 8-2-2,

and jets are right behind them at 8-3.

And depending on the outcome of this game,

just like the outcome of the next game, Monday night in Toronto,

just like the outcome of the next home game Thursday night against the capitals,

you're going to keep seeing the same conversation emerge, and that is, are these guys for real?

And even if you think they are for real, to what degree are you surprised?

After the Jets practiced here yesterday, a Winnipeg reporter asked Arneill what he thought of the penguins being where they are.

This is a must listen.

I mean, they've gotten points in eight straight games, and obviously they've made a coaching change,

and, you know, there's some different looks to them about how they play,

and they're led by one of the greatest players that has, you know, played in this game.
