There's anything that's the most striking right now about Tristan Jari on and off the ice.

who's going to be in goal, but I would imagine, and actually at this point kind of hope,

that Mike Sullivan and his staff stick by Jari. And here's why. And yeah,

I get. Alex And Delcovic played well and his most recent started. Ned's had a run. Ned's had a

couple of runs. Jari needs to have one of those. He's on one. Now I'm talking about a more extended one, a longer look.

A better chance, not just for other teams, to see Jari in case the trade context would arise again this summer.

But for the penguins, really, for them to see how he'll handle the next dip that he

has in performance, and he will have one again, if only because everybody has one,

because as any athlete or even the people who coach or mentor the athletes will attest,

it's easy to ride a hot streak.

It's not anywhere near as easy to bounce back once things don't go well.

But since he's been back up and going back to that spectacular performance that he had in St. Paul,

Jari is now 4.0 and 1 in those five stars. 934

save percentage. And for those of you who haven't been tracking that particular stat in the league

this year, the leading safe percentage. And of course, this is a terribly unfair comparison.
