It was by a count of two to one.

Sergei Mourishov stopped 27 of 28 shots,

and the goals came both on rushes pretty much unimpeded by Bill Zonan and Rutger Magrorty.

The latter was a shorthy, sprung by Avery Hayes. The former is the one I want to talk about.

Because Zanan took a feed on a two-on-one-one break, sized up the net, and just let it fly like it was nothing.

And it represented his third goal in his many games, those representing all three of his lifetime professional hockey games.
