Got another good brand new one for you today with Grammy winner DJ Khaled.

Now you know the name, you know the music, you've seen him in the commercials,

he's everywhere in all the best ways.

He's collaborated with Drake, Jay-Z, Beyoncé, Rihanna, Justin Bieber.

His thing is bringing people together. He started as an actual radio DJ.

Actually it goes back farther than that when he grew up in Orlando, Florida,

the son of Palestinian immigrant parents. He got turntables for his birthday,

started putting beats together and music together in his room. His parents didn't love the music,

so they moved him out to the garage and that was kind of his lab where he learned how to make music.

Got a gig as a DJ in Miami and was so popular and so good that artists wanted to work with him

and have him start making records. And so he moved on from being a DJ on a radio show

to creating this empire where he puts out albums including a new one that's coming out this fall

called Khaled Khaled. And he basically just gathers the best and most famous people in music and

does songs with them. So that's his deal and a lot of people might say, so what does he do exactly?

Was it mean to be a producer? Was it mean to be DJ Khaled? We get into all of that.

I want to set the scene for you a little bit here because I think it's important. So

Khaled is at home in Miami in his office. He got a haircut just before he sat down with us. He was

shaped up very nicely, the hair, the beard, everything. And the shirt, how to describe it,

it's a Versace as he'll tell you in the interview naturally. It's multicolored and then with some
