So I grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, up until the age of around 14 when I went off to high school.

And I come from a respected family in the community.

My grandfather, Oliver Chalom, was a pillar of the community.

He was one of the founding men of the Shul.

As well as my father is respected Talmahacham and a very respected person in the community.

So I kind of grew up with a, not a pressure, but a little bit of expectancy to

to live up to these big personalities that were in my life. So I felt a little bit of a pressure,

not that it was coming from any external place, but internally for sure. So I always, you know, it kind of would get me into trouble

because I would want to be in the spotlight. My grandfather was a very, he was a very tall man,

so everyone saw him when he would walk into a room and he had a very loving and funny personality.
