Let's begin with this.

The draft itself, I find it all fascinating because going into it and, you know, when you go through that process,

did you have an expectation of where and when your name would be called? How did you kind of handle

the anticipation and the nerves, if you will, of waiting for the phone call?

Well, first of all, I handled it through prayer. I was just praying on it, and I know everything

will happen for a reason. So I was talking to my agents, you know, I was just praying on it, and I know everything will happen for a reason.

So I was talking to my agents, you know, they were telling me third round through fifth

round was like around the time I'd get my name called.

So, you know, after day two, once I didn't get my name called, I went down on it.

But, you know, I just, like I said, I'd rather go somewhere where it's a good fit in the later round than go somewhere that's not a good fit for me in the earlier round.

So that was the main thing for me.

Did you feel like the Colts are a good fit?

Most definitely, like, I feel like the coach, that's somewhere.

I can definitely excel, like, and I like the fact that I've worn in the the did you talk to the Colts

workouts that you did in conversation that you might have had with anybody from the

Colts before the draft itself, before they made that phone call to you?
