On this episode of the DIY Sportsman podcast, Garrett talks about his recent weekend trip to hunt public land in WI in which he shot two birds on back to back mornings. For the first bird, terrain layout and tree type played a massive role in the setup, because the bird appeared to be roosting in a place where his most likely travel after fly-down was likely to be in one specific direction. The second bird required a bit more trial and error to try and locate and roost, but the set up was driven more by prior experience hunting that area than it was strictly looking at the map.
