document and addendum in regards to the mental illness or personality disorders, while a

diagnosis can help explain and understand abuse in a marriage, should it really be a reason

to tell a victim of abuse to stay in a home or not allow them to divorce?

I don't think those two things are the same. It can sometimes become necessary for safety's sake

for a person to not stay in the same home as the abuser. I certainly agree with that. But that

doesn't mean automatically being permitted to divorce.
