Summary
The 1-seeds in both conferences are moving on, but that doesn't come anywhere near telling the whole story of Saturday night. Sure, the Chiefs are headed to their fifth consecutive AFC Championship Game, but it will be a tense few days ahead after Patrick Mahomes injured his ankle in the first quarter of the Divisional Round win over the Jaguars. The Eagles, meanwhile, reasserted some dominance in the NFC by controlling the Giants from wire to wire. Robert Mays and Nate Tice break down the two games on this episode of The Athletic Football Show.

| 0:53.9 | Doing very well. That was a quaint little divisional Saturday. I liked it. It was good. The first game, you know, when you nail a prediction, you feel pretty good about it. Good on you, buddy. You got the score right. You were hammering Travis Kelsey overs. He finished with 14 catches. Good day for you. Good early slate for you. They peppered them. I was really more worried about the yards for a while because it was like I think only one of his catches was over seven yards, seven air yards today with Travis Kelsey. He had 10 catches for 55 yards at one point. That's nice. That's a nice little peppering right there. |
| 1:29.1 | That's like a checked out artist right there. |
| 1:30.5 | But it was a good day. And then the second game, it was kind of, you know, we tried to, I felt like we did a good job. We're trying to build up like an angle for the Giants and everything. But it kind of was like, oh, yeah, that that's what happens when you have a really good run offense or run defense, but it was still fun. |
| 1:25.2 | I still enjoyed the games. |
| 1:26.3 | It was a great Saturday, and I'm excited for Sunday, too. |

| 1:46.2 | We'll talk about the ass kicking that just took place a little bit later in the show, but I want to start with the first game because it was the most exciting. It was the most interesting, and it had the most interesting moment. So the chiefs go down on that first drive, and it just feels like it's going to be another Mahomes day. |
