Hello, welcome to diving into the wreckage, and Sean and I are here to talk about

communization theory, an oft-confused, very confusing theory that we're

that we both have some historical connection to

and I've been accused of hating

um

you've been accused of hate

and everything if anything has come across

your point you have been accused of hating it then

that's true.

And so I'm going to just start off with a bastardized Shakespeare appropriation.

We have come not to praise communism nor to bury it, just to explore it. And I'm going to start off with handing it to Sean about a

definition and then I'll talk about what I understand to be its historical trajectory. And then we'll

both talk about how we ended up ever involved in the first place. So Sean, good idea. I like

this. And thank you for calling this, uh, the summit together. Um,

I wasn't sure it was a good time to, uh, praise Barry, mourn or explore communism, but

haven't got into, uh, pulled some books off my shelf that have been getting dust. Uh, I think

it is an interesting time.

And it's an interesting time, if only because for our, especially for our younger listeners or for our newer listeners, both VarnVlog and Antifa, it's good, I think, for both of us

to reexamine priors that we may have had in the past and sort of explore why it was that particular

ideas at particular moments seem plausible. But with all that being said, I have here,
