Hi, welcome back to the Personality Hacker podcast. My name is Joe Mark Whit.

0:09.0

And I'm Antonia Dodge. This week we're continuing a what we have now just decided as a series,

0:16.4

diving a little deeper into the core differences between dichotomies. Now we usually go a little

0:24.2

further into the area of cognitive functions, which are the eight young in functions that talk

0:30.6

about how we use these dichotomies in a variety of ways. But we're going to stay a little bit more

0:36.9

sort of at the surface level and talk just about those dichotomy splits. Now last week we talked

0:42.1

about introversion and extroversion that was spread on by a tweet of a person going or maybe it was

0:46.7

a question somewhere that oh no it was it was definitely a tweet where the person asserted

0:50.9

something about extroverts not being creative. And I was like what that doesn't make any sense

0:56.3

1:23.8

actually is what it is. You remember like Bugs Bunny would get upset and take off its white gloves

1:29.2

and slap the elmer foot around a little bit. So anyway, now I've completely got enough track.

1:35.1

Oh yeah, we're talking about sensing and intuition. What is the actual difference between sensing

1:40.8

and intuition as used by sensors and intuitives? And of course we will still touch a little bit

1:46.8

on these cognitive functions because what type conversation is complete without it. But if you

1:51.3

are really trying to get a a nucleus level sense of the difference between these two things,

1:57.8

well that's what we're going to talk about today. We put emphasis on this split. At least we

2:03.7

traditionally have here a personality hacker between intuitives and sensors, not in a glorified
