The work that you're doing is beyond the money that you're making, beyond the success of your shows.

Your narrative and your motivation comes from something deeper than what society has sort of made it about,

which is measuring success based on sellout shows and all of these kinds of things.

And I think artists get caught up in that as much as anybody else does.

I'm excited to share with you. Sometimes I find people, I know people. I've been tracking their work forever, and then sometimes I find things that just come across my feed and I notice them and then I kind of can't stop thinking about them. Then I go back to learn more.

And such was the case of figurative, abstract artist, Anna Kincaid. Her work, I just saw it, I don't know where I saw it,

and it just stuck in my mind,

and then I kept thinking about it,

then I couldn't remember her name,

and then I went back, and then I learned more.

And I just think it's pretty darn interesting

what she's doing, the kind of work she's making,

what she's talking about.

So I invited her on the show, and this is the first
