Let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Let's call to mind all those we've promised. of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Let's call to mind all those we've promised to pray for.

I especially want to offer this Rosary for Jeannie Sherman. Today we reflect on two truths related to divine providence and if these are lived out they will transform our lives.

The first is this.

God created the world and me and you from nothing.

Oh, certainly my DNA came from my parents but biology cannot create a soul.

My soul and must my person come into being from nothing, from nothing into existence by the sheer goodness and power of God alone.

Therefore, apart from God, I am nothing. Furthermore, God is existence. We have existence from Him.

If God was not thinking of me and you right now, we would cease to exist.

Jesus once appeared to St. Cathin of Siena while she was praying and said,

Do you know who you are and who I am? If you know these two things, you will

be blessed. You are she who is not, whereas I am he who is.

Have this knowledge in you, and the enemy will never deceive you,

and you will escape all his temptations. You will never disobey my

and will acquire all grace, truth and light.

Apart from God, I am nothing.

God is everything.

He is existence.

He is all truth, beauty, goodness, and power.
