Welcome to our Rosary meditation.

Let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Amen.

It's called to mind all those we've promised to pray for.

After the resurrection, Peter and John... promised to pray for.

After the resurrection, Peter and John did not quite know what to do with themselves, so they went back to fishing.

And after a long night, they had caught nothing.

Suddenly Jesus appears on the shore and he directs them to a miraculous catch.

The most important truth of Christianity is that Jesus wants to live in us and through us,

yet we just keep trying to do it on our own.

This is the danger we may fall into after Easter Sunday.

We've finished our Latin practices, We put a lot of effort into it. Now it's so easy just to go back to our old ways, our pre-Lenton ways,

just fall in the trap of doing things by our own limited power.

This is not what Jesus wants.

He wants to live through us.

He gives us the Eucharist. He gives us the eucharist. He gives us himself through the eucharist so that he can live through us.

St Faustina knew the difference between living from Jesus or from her own limited power.

She writes, I find myself so weak that were not for Holy Communion I would

fall continually. One thing alone sustains me. That is Holy Communion.

From it I draw all my strength. In it is all my comfort.

I fear life on days when I do not receive Holy Communion. I fear my own self.
