0:06.1

Podcast. To this podcast I'm going to be discussing a topic called the

0:15.0

excellent residency applicant.

0:17.6

The excellent residency applicant.

0:20.4

Essentially I just wanna put together

0:26.9

a bunch of things that I feel like me for a person that's a good applicant for residency programs and I'm gonna try to remove all the fluff and just get right to

0:31.6

it so let's just get it. So and this is in no particular order. But the very first thing

0:37.8

I will say that makes for an excellent residency applicant is a score for your situation.

0:45.2

1:31.1

1:37.0

So it kind of varies by person. Some people need in the 250s, 260s to make a good application for the same discipline.

1:48.0

And some people just need a score in the 240s to make a good application for the same discipline because they just have other

1:54.0

components of the application that work to their advantage. And the thing is

1:59.3

many people make these score things based on stuff they read online right

2:04.4

they'll say oh my program screens out if you don't get on the over 250 my program
