0:37.0	Todd, this is a very special episode because we're looking at one another face to face. We are. This is real time in person. I guess it's always real, real time, me and you, we're in the same room. Feels great. Real time, real people, real stories, real life. Welcome to Bible stories. That's us. 1:05.4	Today, we're doing it right, though, because we are going to continue our Angels series,
1:10.3	and we've been talking about the
1:11.5	angel of the Lord, specifically, Angel of the Lord in the Old Testament. Todd, fascinating character
1:17.7	in the Old Testament. Yeah, absolutely. Angel of the Lord only appears in the Old Testament.
1:22.8	We're going to see how he identifies with God and yet is distinct from him. Last week we observed the angel of the
1:29.0	Lord in some pivotal moments in biblical history. And today, we're going to see that he's not done
1:34.9	yet. And by no means is this exhaustive. But we're going to take a look at a couple things that he does
1:40.2	in the book of judges. Now, last time we left off in the book of judges in which the angel
1:47.5	of the Lord kind of scolded Israel. Had to have a little talk there, Todd. You've had to have a little
1:53.0	talk with people in the past. The Israelites had failed to obey, and they hadn't conquered
1:57.6	the promised land like they were instructed to do. And this is a big thing for all of us.
2:02.7	Partial obedience is disobedience.
2:04.7	That's right.
2:05.7	And so the angel, the Lord, tells these people, hey, you have disobeyed me.
2:10.8	Why have you done this?
2:13.0	I have said, I will not drive them out before you.
