Open your Bible to Ephesians 6, Ephesians 6, and this is the continuing of our study on the book of Ephesians, and we come now to God's design for the family.

God's design for the family.

We've been working on the issue of marriage over the last few weeks, and by the way, I spent two weeks going through the section prior to

this one today, two weeks. And I think in the past, when I did a series on Ephesians, there's

probably at least 10 messages. So if you want more of the Word of God in more depth and breath, you can go back, you can go

Now, when we talk about the divine design for the family, it's really summed up in four verses.

They're really very simple and direct.

Children obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. Honor your father and mother, which is

the first commandment with a promise, so that it may be well with you and that you may live long

on the earth. Fathers do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction
