I came to cast fire on the earth. This is Jesus talking now. And I think here he's talking to his disciples because right here it says he also said to the multitude. So he's still talking to those to whom he spoke those parables about getting ready for his second coming in the preceding verses. I came to cast fire on the earth and would that it were already kindled.

I have a baptism to be baptized with and how I am constrained until it is accomplished.
