On May 5th, 1993, three eight-year-old boys, Chris Buyers, Stevie Branch, and Michael

Moore went missing in West Memphis, Arkansas.

Their severely abused and hog-tied bodies were found the next day in a water-filled ditch

near their homes.

There was very little evidence at the crime scene, but the condition of their bodies

pointed to satanic cult activity, at least in the eyes of the police, who then convinced

the public, and then a jury of that story.

Three teens, Damien Eccles, Jason Baldwin, and Jesse Miss Kelly Jr., known as the West

Memphis 3 were considered outcasts in the community and were quickly arrested, tried, and convicted.

Beyond the gruesome nature of the murders, there are details in this case that are very

much disturbing.

first thing that comes to mind when I think about it is witch hunt, yup.
