When I was 18, I met this guy on a dating app who was 28.

Yes, that age gap is a massive red flag, one of many.

I was very naive and had no experience with men at the time.

I'm 26 now, and I am consistently horrified at young me's decisions. Anyways, we talked a bit, and I learned he went to the same

community college as me. After a few days, we decided to meet during a long break in between

classes. We met up outside the library and went on a walk together.

He immediately did that whole self-pity thing,

saying he was unattractive that most people would just ghost him,
