I knew the city was beautiful,

and I wanted to check out all the amazing architecture and waterfront views. The thing is,

it takes over 20 hours to get there, and that always seemed too big of a hurdle. When I turned

30, though, I decided I had waited long enough. I booked my flight as a present to myself and

went alone. Solo travel is always more difficult for women, but I wasn't worried about Stockholm.
