derek thanks for joining me hey andrew thanks for having me uh yeah let's let's talk some dj le mayhew it

hasn't been such a great great year for him unfortunately got to ask you a question first though

were you because i think there was us i don't want to Great year for him, unfortunately. Got to ask you a question first, though. Mm-hmm.

Were you, because I think there was us, I don't want to call it a large contingent,

because it's always the vocal minority, especially on Twitter.

But where did you stand on how good of a player DJ Lemayhew was based on his last two seasons,

which were obviously off the charts good for him, but really for

anybody as well. Where were you prior to this season on DJ? Yeah, I thought he was probably

arguably the best second baseman in the league. I mean, I didn't see any reason to think that

what we're seeing this year would happen.

Like, it had been basically two years of elite production.

It's not like he had never had great years in Colorado.

I mean, he had some up and down seasons with them,

but it seemed like he just leveled up to a new level with the Yankees.
